The Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) is a dynamic capacity‑building organization dedicated to “connecting, equipping, and empowering young Africans with the skills, resources, and networks necessary to unlock their full potential and contribute meaningfully to building resilient African communities.” We operate through three core service centers:
Incubation & Acceleration Center – Supporting young entrepreneurs to turn ideas into sustainable ventures.
Skills Development Center – Offering practical training in digital marketing, graphic design, career orientation, counselling, mentorship, job hunting, and placement.
Charity and Humanitarian Center – Providing community support, referrals, and volunteer coordination.
Program Overview
The CIBER Internship Program is a structured, hands‑on learning opportunity designed for recent graduates and final‑year students who wish to harness their skills and gain real‑world professional experience. This is not a passive observation period; interns are integrated into active projects, contribute to ongoing operations, and receive regular mentorship and feedback. The program is built to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and workplace competence, preparing participants for successful careers or further entrepreneurial endeavors.
What makes this program unique? Interns rotate through or focus on one of our three centers, gaining exposure to entrepreneurship support, skills training delivery, and community engagement – all within a single organization.
