Dear Students, Alumni, Partners, and Stakeholders,

It is with great appreciation and renewed purpose that I reach out to you, members of the vibrant YIBS community. Each of you plays a vital role in the ongoing growth and success of Yaoundé International Business School. As Vice Chancellor, I am proud of the progress we have made together and excited about the opportunities ahead of us in the development of Cameroon and Africa.

YIBS has grown steadily over the years, guided by strong values, committed leadership and the collective effort of students, faculty, staff, and partners. I remain committed to building on this foundation with the same spirit of vision, dedication and foresightedness.

As we continue our journey, our focus is to strengthen YIBS as a centre of excellence in higher education, one that prepares students to meet the demands of today’s world and contribute meaningfully to society.

To achieve this, we are committed to:

1. Strengthening Academic Quality
   We are continuously improving our programmes to ensure that they meet both local and international standards. Our goal is to provide students with relevant skills, strong values, and the ability to succeed in their chosen fields.
2. Promoting Innovation and Practical Learning
   We believe in learning by doing. That is why our approach emphasises real-world training, entrepreneurship, and technology. Our goal is that every YIBS graduate leaves here ready to solve problems and create value in their communities and beyond.
3. Building Partnerships for Impact
   We are working closely with business communities and enterprises, government bodies, and academic institutions to build a stronger network of support for our students and faculty. These partnerships open doors for internships, research, and development of projects that benefit our society.
4. Supporting Access and Inclusion
   YIBS is committed to giving more young people the chance to receive quality education. Through scholarships and outreach programmes, we are opening our doors to deserving students who may not have the means but have the drive and
   talent to succeed against all odds or in spite of.

This journey is not ours alone. The continued success of YIBS depends on all of us—students striving for excellence, alumni carrying the YIBS name with pride, staff delivering quality services every day, and partners who believe in our mission.
