CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS, EDUCATION AND RESEARCH (CIBER)

The Center for International Business, Education and Research (CIBER) is the apex body of Yaounde International Business School (YIBS) and International School of Engineering, Science and Technology (ISEST), mandated to advance excellence in education, research, innovation and community development.

As a multidisciplinary hub, CIBER integrates: Educational innovation, Entrepreneurship development, Evidence-based policy research, Students’ skill development & orientation, and Social services.

YAOUNDE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS SCHOOL (YIBS)

Yaounde International Business School (YIBS) is a renowned professional institution of higher learning accredited by the Cameroon Ministry of Higher Education as per accreditation No. 19-10908/L/MINESUP/SG/DDES/ESUP/SDA/AOSP and affiliated with The University of Bamenda (UBa). INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (ISEST)

The International School of Engineering, Science and Technology (ISEST) is dedicated to providing practical, high-quality education for the next generation of engineers and medical practitioners. With Authorisation No. 26-00582/L/MINESUP/DDES/ESUP/SDA/MF, ISEST offers specialised training across essential sectors. We prepare our students for success in Engineering, Health Sciences, Agriculture, Food Sciences, Home Economics and Social Work.

School of Medical and Biomedical Sciences
School of Computer Engineering
School of Agricultural and Food Sciences
School of Civil Engineering
School of Home Economics & Social Works
School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality instruction and promote academic excellence through innovative
teaching and learning methods.
Contribute to curriculum development and the periodic review of academic programs
to ensure industry relevance.
Engage in evidence-based research and contribute to the institution’s innovation goals.
Support student progression, providing mentorship and academic advising to ensure
high retention and success rates.
Participate in school committees and contribute to the development of institutional
policies.
Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion within the classroom and broader school programs

Qualifications:

A minimum of a Master’s degree or PhD in the relevant field (Engineering, Science,
Business, or Social Sciences) from a recognised university.
Proven experience in teaching at the higher education level or significant professional
experience in a related sector.
A demonstrated track record of academic contribution or professional achievement in
the specific discipline.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and pedagogical skills.
Ability to foster a collaborative and high-performance learning environment.
