Programme Overview

The Physiotherapy programme at YIBS is designed to prepare competent, ethical, and compassionate professionals who promote physical health and functional independence. Physiotherapists are crucial in the rehabilitation of patients suffering from physical impairments due to injury, illness, aging, or disability.

This hands-on programme blends classroom instruction with practical clinical experience to ensure that students develop the theoretical knowledge and technical skills required to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions.

Main Objectives

  • Train students to understand human anatomy, movement science, and physical dysfunctions
  • Equip students with assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills using physical therapy techniques
